CONFERENCE ON PRODUCTION SYSTEMS AND LOGISTICS
The aim of the Conference on Production Systems and Logistics (CPSL) is to promote exchange on current topics and knowledge on production systems and logistics and to create an innovative environment for the generation of scientific ideas. Therefore, the CPSL is partnering with renowned research institutions, publishers and scientific societies. Leading scientific experts are invited to present their research results and studies after a comprehensive review process and to discuss them with other participants. The subsequent dissemination of the reviewed papers will provide a wide scope and support for future research.

WHY LIMA?
Why did we choose Peru? Lima is not only a hub for commerce and industry but also a melting pot of diverse cultures and ideas. Amidst the dynamic backdrop of a rapidly growing economy, participants will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge advancements in production engineering. Lima's vibrant energy and forward-thinking spirit make it an ideal setting for fostering collaboration and sharing insights among researchers. From the historic charm of its colonial architecture to the modern infrastructure that supports thriving business ventures, Lima provides the perfect blend of tradition and innovation. In addition, with Prof. Juan Carlos Quiroz Flores (Universidad de Lima) and Prof. Yvan Garcia Lopez (Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola) we already have strong partners in our conference committee who have been supporting the CPSL diligently and faithfully for years. We are very pleased to intensify this cooperation together and to build an extensive network for our participants.
All accepted papers are published with open access by publish-Ing. in cooperation with the Leibniz Information Center for Engineering and Information Technology and University Library (TIB), the world’s largest library for engineering and natural sciences. For a clear assignability, all contributions will be provided with an ISSN and an individual DOI for each paper. In addition, the proceedings are archived for an unlimited period of time and can be accessed worldwide with open access at any time. This means that all publications are accessible without financial, legal or technical barriers, i.e. anyone can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and research the information or use it in education or in any other way within the legal agreements.

PEER-REVIEW PROCESS
In order to ensure a high scientific quality the CPSL uses a new Peer-Review System, which has the benefits that all researchers can have an impact on the contributions while a baseline standard is set by an established institution. All submitted papers will be reviewed in a two-stage peer review process by experienced scientists of cooperating research institutes (level 1) as well as authors of other submitted papers (level 2). This ensures a consistent quality of the papers and reviews according to demanding standards through the first step as well as an influence of all participants on the quality of the papers through the second step. Therefore, each participant commits himself to review a paper by another author according to defined criteria and to form an expert opinion. All reviews are monitored by the editors to ensure the high quality of the papers and reviews.

PROGRAM & KEY-DATES
The program includes presentations of all accepted and registered papers as well as interesting keynote speeches by renowned representatives from the scientific community for production engineering. In addition, joint discussion rounds following the presentations provide a forum for further exploring topics. During the welcome registration and a joint dinner, the participants will also have the opportunity to get to know each other and to strengthen the international exchange and cooperation.

The Conference on Production Systems and Logistics (CPSL) is an international forum for scientific exchange in the field of production engineering. The conference takes place every 8 months and brings together scientists from all over the world to discuss current research results and exchange experiences.
After you have created an account under ‘Login’, you can upload an abstract and, after positive feedback, a full paper. You will receive the feedback on the abstract and paper as well as the reviews in the login area and via e-mail to the address that you have provided. In the login area you also have access to a paper template and a review template.
In order to guarantee high scientific quality, the CPSL's review process is based on a two-stage procedure. One review is prepared by the renowned scientific committees to ensure a high standard and another review is prepared by a different author so that all participants have an influence on the quality of the papers and the conference. This is seen as a commitment by the participants to work together to ensure a high standard. Only papers by authors who have actively supported the review process will be published.
All submitted papers are reviewed in a two-stage peer review process by experienced scientists from cooperating research institutions (stage 1) and by authors of other submitted papers (stage 2). The first stage ensures a consistent quality of the papers and reviews according to high standards. The second stage ensures that all participants have an influence on the quality of the papers. Each participant therefore undertakes to review a paper by another author according to defined criteria. The reviews are checked by the Editorial Board before they are sent out in order to ensure the high quality of the papers and the associated event.
In order to register for the conference it is necessary that you create an account under ‘Login’. Afterwards you can upload your abstract and paper. After successful completion of the review process you can register to the conference directly in your profile.
Yes. All papers published by CPSL are listed on Google Scholar and SCOPUS. To do this, Google Scholar and Scopus search the Internet for research papers published by recognized publishers. However, this process may take some time. The delay depends on how often Google Scholar and SCOPUS update their index and how much time Google Scholar and SCOPUS needs to process the collected data. Unfortunately, we have no control over how quickly papers are listed. However, authors can speed up the process by manually adding their paper to their profile on Google Scholar and SCOPUS.
Listing your paper on Scopus offers benefits such as increased visibility among researchers, enhanced reputation, citation tracking for measuring impact, potential collaboration opportunities, improved prospects for funding and career advancement, access to metrics and insights, and international exposure to a global audience. These advantages contribute to the recognition and impact of your research within the academic community.
The CPSL breaks with traditional standards for stiff dress codes. For a pleasant atmosphere and collegial exchange, the dress code for the event is Smart Casual.
No, if you have successfully passed both reviews with your first upload, you are not obliged to upload a revised version for the “revised paper submission deadline". Only for the “camera ready deadline" we recommend that you incorporate the reviewers’ comments and fine-tune your paper.
You can download the presentation template from your profile (“Presentation" section) on the homepage. The guidelines and rules for the presentation are included in the template.
In order to ensure a smooth flow of the conference, we ask you to upload your final presentation to your profile no later than the last Friday before the conference. We will only accept your presentation on a USB stick in justified exceptional cases, as this would disrupt the conference flow (final changes and adjustments are not justified exceptions – the deadline for presentations is the Friday before the conference).
The conference program will be published a few days after the registration deadline. We cannot publish any information about the conference program before that time, as it will surely change.
Yes, for each conference we try to reserve contingents with nice hotels nearby. You will find our recommendations, as soon as they are available, under the “Event" tab on the homepage.
Yes, of course you can book an additional seat for your "+1" at the Conference Dinner during your registration. Also after your registration you can still book an additional seat for the conference dinner in the registration section of your profile.
No, unfortunately it is not possible for us to consider wishes regarding presentation times. For this reason, we treat everyone equally and cannot take any wishes into account.
The conference proceedings will be published shortly after the conference on publish.Ing.com and via the University Library of TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology.
The proceedings (both the complete volume and the individual papers) will be published only a few days after the conference.
